Miriam Akpata  BSc, MSc, PMP, CPBA, CSM. Born in the culturally conscious city of Benin, Edo State.

Her first encounter with formal education was at Emotan Primary School, from where she transited seamlessly to the famous Idia College. She later bagged a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the prestigious University of Benin. The quest to garner more knowledge and academic laurels propelled her to the University of Abuja where she obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration.

Miriam has served diligently in various capacities across different organizations. She was a delightful Newscaster on the platform of the Edo Broadcasting service between 

2002 and 2003. 

In line with her professional training, she served as an accountant in Edo CSDP - a World Bank-assisted project. 

The allure of broadcasting pulled her into the Radio Nigeria fraternity as a newscaster and senior producer of note. In 2018, she joined the Nigeria Television Authority as a senior reporter and upscale newscaster.

She later relocated to Canada where, by the dint of sheer hard work and vision, she became a certified project manager, certified business analyst, and scrum master with cognitive experience and an impressive track record.

She is presently managing the News Department of GBKM Television, an emerging power in Canada's broadcast industry.
